Black & Veatch's role is still on-going and includes management and operations of the biosolids facilities through startup and commissioning. This is in alliance with Anglian Water, and includes operations staff training.
The project includes capital delivery and operational optimization of two sludge hydrolysis (CAMBI) schemes:
Cotton Valley plant, processing over 22,000 tonnes DS/year
Whitlingham plant, processing over 20,000 tonnes DS/year
The alliance shares in any operational optimization gains after investment capital has been recovered by Anglian Water. Benchmarks for operations are monitored on a monthly basis by the alliance.
